Terms of Service

Will do:

  • NSFW (exposed private areas, heavy gore/blood, etc.)

By commissioning me, you agree to be bound by the following terms.
These terms are subject to change at any time without notice.
It is your responsibility to check for updates to these terms before submitting a new commission request.

  1. You (the client) must credit all commissioned work to "@aoameayumi" any time you post it on any social media and/or use it on any streaming platform.

  2. I reserve the right to livestream, showcase, or otherwise share the commissioned work and any of my progress on said work or related processes without limitation. You may request for me to keep your commission private until completion.

  3. All commissions will be invoiced before work begins, and must be paid upfront in full through PayPal within 7 days upon receiving the invoice. Do NOT send payment before I send you the invoice. For VTuber models/rigging, there will be an option to pay 50% upfront and 50% after it has been finished before delivering.

  4. I do not accept rush orders for all commission requests. Please make time (recommended at least 1.5 months before the given deadline) in your schedule, and plan out any requests before commissioning me. At my sole discretion, I may add you to the top of the queue if time is limiting. However, it's not guaranteed.

  5. Any modifications of the commission is NOT permitted by anyone other than myself, unless I grant express permission in writing.

  6. If there are any additional items requested after the commission has been finished AND fully paid, please contact me here and another invoice will be sent.

  7. I reserve the right to accept or deny any commission request for any reason, as well as I am not obligated to disclose my reason(s).

  • If I accept your commission request but am unable to start for whatever reason, you will be issued a full refund.

  • If I start work on your commission but I later determine that I am unable to continue at any point during the commission process, you will be issued a 75% refund.

  • If I accept but find your behavior and/or credibility questionable before starting or at any point during the commission process, I will terminate the commission without refund and refuse to continue working with you in the future.

  1. An additional commercial fee equal to 25% of total price must be paid to use the commission commercially. Please contact me here if you have any questions.

  2. Under no circumstances may the commission be altered, changed, and/or otherwise modified and redistributed for profit or non-profit purposes. For VTuber models and Live2D rigging, gifting or reselling the commission to any third party is NOT permitted. An exception is allowed for agencies and companies to purchase commissions on behalf of their individuals.

  3. Under no circumstances may the commission be used for ANY form of blockchain-related technology, such as but not limited to: NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) and cryptocurrency.

  4. Pricing may vary to accommodate PayPal fees.

  5. If you like my work, please consider making a donation here and label it as "commission tip"!

Failure to follow ToS will result in immediate discontinuation (if active) of commission without refund and refusal of working with the client in the future.

Workflow

Commission Process

  1. Fill out the application form. Provide clear references of your character and a general description about them (appearance, personality, likes, etc.).

  2. I will contact you when it's your turn on the queue to discuss about the commission and payment.

  3. Once accepted, I'll send you an invoice on PayPal to your specified email address. You'll have 7 days to make a payment upon receiving the invoice, otherwise the commission will be terminated.

  4. Time will vary depending on the type of commission requested. I'll update you periodically and might ask for specific details to add to the commission (without a fee of course!). Any feedback is greatly appreciated during this stage!

  5. When the commission is ready, I'll let you know and send you the Google Drive link for download!

VTuber Model

  1. I will make a rough reference sheet. During this time, any design/color changes can be made, including alternative outfits and hairstyles if requested. Any requests outside of this period will incur a fee.

  2. Once accepted by the client, I will start sketching out the pose of the model.

  3. I will start lining and rendering immediately after everything has been approved by the client.

  4. I will start cutting the model and adding any details that will be used for object clipping and/or 3D effects. Please have your rigger (if it's not me) be in contact with me during this time.

  5. It'll take 3-5 weeks to complete depending on complexity/how busy I may be.

Live2D Rigging

  1. I will review the PSD file to check for any cutting and/or void filling mistakes. Depending on the amount of errors there are, I may incur a fee. Please have your artist (if it's not me) be in contact with me throughout the entire process. This can take up to a week depending on the artist's responses.

  2. Once I've accepted and find the PSD satisfactory, I will immediately start the rigging process.

  3. I will deliver the model when it's near complete. During this time, any feedback about the model to review or revise is highly encouraged. It'll take about a week to fix and finish up any additional requests added onto the model.

  4. Once everything is completed, I will upload the finished model onto Google Drive. You can contact me for technical support within the 7 day period upon final delivery.

  5. It'll take 5-6 weeks to complete depending on complexity/how busy I may be.

Emotes

  1. I will sketch out the emote(s) and have you check for approval.

  2. Once approved, I will immediately start lining and coloring.

  3. After I'm done, I'll have you check for any minor details that I might've missed or needed to be changed to match your envisioning.

  4. It'll take 2-4 days to complete depending on how busy I may be.

Icons

  1. The client won't have much input during the process. This gives the artist creative freedom and of course will be of higher quality.

  2. I will immediately start with rough line art and paint right after. Studio lighting will be applied during the painting process.

  3. I will merge the layers into one and duplicate it to apply 2 filters: chromatic aberration and a custom contrast filter. These filters can be deselected in the PSD file.

  4. It'll take roughly 4-6 hours to complete and can be delivered on the same day the commission has been accepted.

When will commissions open?

  • Please check the main commission page. I will also make announcements on my social media about its opening/closing.

How many commissions will you take before closing?

  • I don't have a set limit for queue, but if I feel like I've taken enough requests, I will announce its closing.

How long does it take for you to do commissions?

  • Please look through here under the type of commission you want. If you have a deadline, I highly recommend making a request at least 1.5 months before the date as I don't take rush orders.

Do I get updates during the process?

  • Yes. I will update you periodically, and any input is greatly appreciated unless I specify otherwise.

Can I change my references after the commission started?

  • No, you may not. If you were to, in that case, it'll be considered a brand new commission. Please plan out your request carefully before commissioning me.

Can I change or add additional requests after the commission started?

  • No. Once the invoice has been made and sent, I'm not able to edit the amount due. Please plan out your request carefully before commissioning me.

Can I commission more than one type?

  • Of course! The way I formatted the forms is to easily group the commissions based on product. You may need to fill out each individual forms since it's product specific.

What is the commercial fee for?

  • Anything that involves making profit off of the commission. VTuber models are usually used for streaming and is usually making profit from it, so the 25% commercial fee is included to give the client free reign to make money using the model however they want.

What if I'm not monetized, but I plan to in the future?

  • I cannot remove the included 25% commercial fee. It is there to give you free reign to make money using the model however you want. Even if you're not monetized at the moment, any promotions or branding will lead up to that.
